Camila Knigge Unibe (Any Pronouns), born in San Jose, California to a Mexican mother and German father, lives and works from the San Francisco Bay Area.
Their work explores her own identity and experiences as a multiracial person through floral and natural imagery. Her passion for social justice and the journey of freedom and liberation of all people and plants is a frequent theme in her work as well.
Their work has been featured in various cafes and galleries in the San Diego-Tijuana area. However, as a strong believer in mutual aid, she most often uses their art to fundraise for causes like abortion funds, bail funds for incarcerated protestors, Trans health services, etc. She has fundraised over $500 through small scale printing and created shipping packaging out of recycled materials.
